Great River Amateur Radio Club

Board of Directors

President
Joe Feyen (KD9HAE)

I first got started in amateur radio when I was about 8 years old. Someone had given my dad a Heathkit SB-102 that didn't work, but I liked playing with the knobs. In 2016 I decided to get my license. I have always had interest in electronics and learning about them. This continues today with Ardunio's Raspberry Pi's and software programming.

Vice President
Colin Wheatley (W9UPK)

We have a great  club. Personally I'm interested in emergency communications, ARES and occasional DX. This year with the backing of the club, I am chairing IASPOTA-2020-- Putting 63 parks on the air as we celebrate Iowa State Park Centennial
